L'Ecurie

Our three bed, two bathroom gite L'Ecurie was constructed from the old stable section of the outbuildings. Sympathetically restored using traditional methods, very little of the old building remains except the exceptional roof structure and the exposed stone walls. The ground floor, of around 100m2 in total, is open plan around the central woodburner (for those cooler evenings) ensuring no-one gets stuck in the kitchen at meal times.

The comprehensively equipped oak kitchen comprises a 90cm range cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, large capacity fridge freezer and just about every utensil you need to prepare your meal. Here you will find the wired ADSL connection for high speed internet access and Wifi.

In the salon area, we provide French Satellite tv with some Freeview UK channels, dvd player, and a Sony cd player.

The entrance area is open to the eaves, some 7 metres in height giving an feeling of immense space and light. French doors lead to the riverside terrace with barbeque, teak garden furniture and comfortable sofas.

Continuing our tour on the first floor, the master suite comprises a 160cm wide four poster bed with matching furniture, a second television and an en-suite shower room with massage shower cubicle.

The whole of the upstairs is floored in solid chestnut parquet.

The second double bedroom has a 160cm wide bed, and this and the twin room share a house bathroom with corner bath.

All bedrooms have a wardrobe, chest of drawers and bed-side tables with lights.
